We focus on one aspect of the business of illustration each month, and explore articles, resources, tangible learnings and practical 'take-aways' for you to apply in your own illustration business.
Members are also encouraged to raise questions about their own illustration business, and to seek advice and learn from the experiences of the community.
Together, community members aim to focus, learn and grow their illustration businesses - supporting and encouraging each other as they go.
IllustrationBiz Portfolio Challenge
The IllustrationBiz Portfolio Challenge Facebook Group is a place for illustrators, surface pattern designers and typographers to create, share, and ultimately grow a body of work for their portfolios - focused on one broad theme each month.
The challenge is a place for members to create, consolidate and share a portfolio of old and/ or new work related to each month's theme. If they like, members can also share links to any work that they have available for sale in the monthly 'Shop Now' post - to readily enable potential customers to purchase their work as prints, or on products.
For IllustrationBiz Community members, the challenge provides a practical opportunity to apply their learnings from the community group, about the business side of illustration.
